October ’s Obsessions
I was wholly engrossed in the letters of John Keats, in the long mourning of Queen Victoria and in skirts. I was adamant in sending hand written letters to the people I knew and I was stricken by the temporariness found in the house of the Flower Hoarder.
I was in search of beauty but I was not impressed by immortality because the idea of death makes life sweeter.
I was, and still am, in awe of the world unheeded by the tick tock sound of the clock.
