ODE TO THE BOOKISH GIRLS

The edge

edge vogue-nippon-editorial-givenchy“I stood at the edge, I could feel the wind pushing me.”

I went for a walk to the cliffs yesterday darling.

It was a windy day in the village. Donning my Givenchy gown, I headed towards the highest point in the village.

I passed rubble walls and fennel fields; trudging onwards with a heavy step. Sometimes darling, even the village becomes a bit too unquiet, a bit too unsettling, and I start longing for somewhere else to rest.

I arrived at the cliffs — huge stones which looked as old as time, weakened only by the aggressive waves of the sea.

I stood at the edge, I could feel the wind pushing me.

I stayed there for an immeasurable time.
